its being some time since i've posted. yea its a dead blog mostly, but its just a habit. reminds me, dont everyone have habits they cant kick?

these days i've decided to go bloghopping, and for once i decided to follow a link from a friend's blog and landed in a blog that told me alot abt a side of my friend that i did not know of (or i know but just surprised to see that some people share my thoughts)

i dont know, but it seems like i really cant get some people out of my mind. im sorry fellow classmates and friends if i keep talking about random people and how they're like until you can scream "SHUT UP!"..

friends will be leaving for the airport soon, i hope their trips will be a fun-filled and educational one. sadded that we'll all be away but haiz.. no choice.

i shant let some people destroy my happy weekend, so if you are reading this, please note the following things:

its the end of midyears and im FREE!!!!!!! hooray!

now to look forward to friday's badminton wif the "ZEALOTS" and next week's bbq~ sheesh my saturday's toast again thanks to CIP.. i hope its a success else i'll waste a saturday for nothing. and YES i finally found out whats an ALTAR CALL~

HAHA I HAVE FULFILLED WHATEVER I'VE PROMISED!! now to go off interpreting my poor dreams. i saw my fren's blog about dreams and am once again reminded that my dreams are still in full force. i hope that its just a nightmare for others, cos if it really comes true.. oh that familiar pain..

seriously i think i shall not be so lazy and start posting again even though i know that my blog is and has been dead for a long time.. but whatever ^^ so just some random stuff to post abt.

3 day countdown to mid-years, JIAYOUS SEC3S!! yes dont procrastinate, do well for this 1 week of tests. i admit that i did not do well for common tests, cos i dint bother to study well. but yea cos of some crazy reason that includes a challenge and threat so now i have to study ahead of schedule T.T i shall not be stuck at home and be a hermit during the hols. just need to slog for a week and then can go crazy and play all i want le.

after midyears comes the auditions for sec3s BAND!! cos there's NBC!! yes so early wishing my BELOVED BAND FRIENDS ALL THE BEST!! and yup auditions for sec2s start tml, so best of luck to my juniors too! kaze-no-mai, blue sky and sunshine here we come!

on 24.04.2010..
went for a band function + church xD cos the function was at Kester's house and it was close to the church so i woke up and just decided to go for fun before heading for his house..

church was enriching as always, i was able to see pre-service prayer (which i missed last time) and yup its really sorta cool to see ppl praying, having so much to say to Him. had a guest speaker for service whose sermon was really hilarious in the sense that his anecdotes were funny. taught about "relationships" between men and women and took notes. but it seems like i wont be needing it haha cos im not intending to tie myself down to marriage (so dont tell me that i wont remain single LOL) worship songs then a parting phrase from sister wanping was to tell the ppl beside us that "ILY!" then Jeffrey told me and Jiatong that while Iris was like "No Im not saying that! *embarrassed look*" haha Jeffrey's so brotherly. had lifegroup for an hour and yes had Sherrilyn from CO to visit and stay. surprised Jiatong with a cake xD her bdae was on 25th. then Lisa was so funny, when Liangzhi asked for the box she thought is tear the box up and use the cardboard to serve the cake. then he was like " I wanted the box so that Jiatong can bring the cake back haiyo.." *exasperated look* played "Chop Chilli Chop" then left at around the same time as Jiatong for BAND!!

yea reached Kester's house, famished cos dint eat before going. then lounged in the function room while talking to Huishi, Jieyee and Yiran abt PRC scholars. i say, they are really duper pro. had fun horsing around outside while edlind and huishi tried to disturb the guys inside by knocking on the glass window behind them. then l8r we all decided to throw Kester into the pool and yes after some frantic struggling he went into the pool. "Poor Kester," i mused as he resurfaced, mock outraged expression. then used his slippers and tried to "skip" them across the pool but failed and Kester had to dive in for it. kester got his revenge tho, he grabbed Ashley's specs and threw them into the pool. Aloysius tried to get down to the pool to get his specs but everyone pulled him back. Kester went to retrieve it in the end. fun over, i went back into the room, only to be informed l8r that Aloysius had jumped into the pool when xiaotong was distracted and let go of him. "we should have let him go in the 1st place" i said and ashley agreed LOL. Mr Tan's speech was special, he talked abt his exp in nanhua band and how he's staying on as an alumni and he would come see us often too. then clean up, and went home wif sec3 band ppl + Yuanting. ended up getting home at 10.15..

Reflection!
Church: even tho im still lost for words when she suddenly asks me what im thinking during the worship songs, but yes theres one thing i dint share that time. and yes i'll probably keep it a secret, cos for me its a realisation of things that i wasnt able to comprehend earlier on. but.. still, some things are rather imponderable to me. i guess this means i still have to continue learning HAHAHA.

BAND: i understand that Mr Tan makes a conscious effort to make our BAND fun and lively. thats cos of our previous senior Anita, who commented that "band isn't fun when you came in"
after a fall-out in band. this made him realise that he couldnt treat us like VS band. maybe thats why we're "closer" to him. understand that our band is special to him. understand that its not a farewell party, cos we'll still see him in alumni band xD understand that as long as we are or were from NHSB, no matter where we are, in JC, in POLY, in UNIVERSITY or anything, we must come back to visit NHSB! be an alumni. LOL i know its broken english but i was typing it out from a page i wrote on. its just passing thoughts ^^

with a new conductor, it means greater challenges to bring us to greater heights. with Mr and Mrs Chua, it means that we have to achieve a new breakthrough be it PLAYING, ATTENDANCE, and YES ATTITUDE. working together means that we can get GOLD for NBC. so YES! WORK FOR IT! NHSB GOLD!
