man the conductor changed our NBC march song from MARCH KAWASAKI to BLUE SKY AND SUNSHINE i tell you, this conductor absolutely LOVES japanese songs or smth, cos blue sky and sunshine is one. and, its crazy that this song is 132 - 138 beats per min. its already bad enough that KAZE-NO-MAI was 128 beats per min. i think NBC shall kill us all if we dont work hard. especially THOSE people who keep pon-ing band these few practises *hint hint* yes i admit im not the best band person (after all im no JL), but i treat band seriously. i hope you all do too. irritating you know to cover up for you when i know you're somewhere else. once is enough. dont try a second time. its my honest opinion.

so yea sign off with NHSB JIAYOUS FOR NBC!! WE CAN DO IT! PERSEVERE AND IT SHALL BE DONE!!

start of school today *yawns* totally not exciting. haha yea had a smashing holiday week!

-monday's celebration was fun xD laugh duper hard with huili they all while playing arcade together, cos it was so hilarious. yiqing kept tio own by huili in talking sia, huili best ah.

-tuesday had fun destressing with qinyin and jianyi at the zone-x arcade with go-go balls, drums and basketball!!

-wednesday was sweltering hot for flag day. did 1st shift with sammy, doris, yujia and jiaxuan!!!went with jiaxuan for 2nd shift w/o knowing that doris they all don wan do le.. so sorry jiaxuan, know you're veh tired but still do with me. really thanks and sorry for that.

-thursday was BAND!! finished reading Dance of the Wind KAZE-NO-MAI. oh my 天 i totally missed the reading of the 2nd page and half of the third.. i just hope i can catch up. decided to bring saxo back then when i lugged it downstairs it started to rain... totally drenched saxo case when i managed to brave the torrent of rain with edeline, kina, jermaine and jinlin. record eh.. seems like everytime i bring back saxo i regret it, then when i dont bring it back i feel guilty for being so lazy LOL! had lunch at KFC with edeline, kina, kimberly, minghui, jieyee, yiran, jinlin and jermaine. exchanged details about our diff classes while we ate. then decided to take bus back, and bumped into hsu wen! haha i keep bumping into this fun careforce+ french horn junior xD

-friday, victoria went to my house to do history with me. felt like we dint do much, but at least finished history w/s and most of the physics while laughing like siao. muged the whole afternoon for chem, 1 and a half chapters to go!!

-saturday was packed. morning go temple with family, then afternoon chiong to je meet iris! haha i cant believe that we were so close to meeting each other cos she came from bugis. but missed the train by 2min. had an absolutely smashing time at her church xD even though i kinda "stoned" during songs. but sermon was great! sister wanping knows how to make her sermon interesting all right, not relying on powerpoint alot, lots of examples.

then came life group. i will say it was an unnerving experience when i heard of meeting ppl i dont know, but surprisingly its not that bad, i can remember all the names of those introduced to me in the group. yea then had a discussion with iris abt some stuff xP educational. the group's very nice to me, a newcomer. had dinner with them and joked with kelly. she bet that i would get a bf and get married, and she was wrong LOL cos she also assumed that for iris. high-fived with her cos our views were the same x) yea walked to the bus stop with liangzhi, leader of the life group. nice guy man, the bus stop was so far and he walked with me. then he had to go back to the dinnerplace.. sorry for making you walk so far.

REFLECTION: conquered my fears of meeting new people and remembering of names. and all in one afternoon, quite good le xP yea i feel drawn to this life group, dont know why but just drawn to it. haha but with me intent on being a freethinker its kinda weird to want to belong. still, i hope to be able to go back to church and play xP i hope the next time i go there, life group will be more bonded.

NBC's getting closer as i type, getting closer to all the pressure of getting GOLD. with kaze-no-mai and march kawasaki, i hope our band will perform to the best. JIAYOU NHSB, PLAY ON FOR GOLD!!

crazy week this is, hope can finish my homework..

went bloghopping just now and realised something belatedly. it feels like as if everyone is moving on and im just 脚踏原地 over there. like im stuck in time while everything goes on. i really want to let go of the past and embrace my future but.. its just not happening. what am i doing? sheesh, i need to snap out of it. not in the past anymore.

lol idk why im bothering, but im starting to pick up beatboxing from a SJAB guy alan haha. they're so cool at it. then saturday weetiong tells me that its a tradition for all SJAB guy cadets to learn beatbox. so cool cann!! yea so im learning the basics and plan to get the formulas from alan so can prac xD

its nearing the hols~ whole week gg to be packed soon. must make sure leave a space on saturday for smth special xD tml getting back history, hope i dont fail too badly.. hehe

yup just posting to say that CAREFORCE RECRUITMENT PROGRAME IS OFFICIALLY OVER WOOTS~ and WHOA YES GOT ALOT CIP HOURS!! cos of planning xD anway, rather lot sec2 and sec3 volunteer to join, but some for ulterior motives, wan escape from smth *wink wink* sadly, care reps not alot ppl go.. its COMPULSORY and they dint go, no so shuang le. but hahaha they have to meet william next week, so... good luck care reps xP

next week career week, feel like sitting in for the health science or life sciences, altho dont feel like being doctor but there's no music or lawyer talk so.. but i lazy go la xP careforce duty on friday, so sian can, entrepreneur + accounting + finance = boredom.. oh well i chose the date, so jus make do. anyway got CIP hours so yup, not so bad. sign off 1st, so tired after today. CAREFORCE FRENS, JIAYOUS FOR INTERNATIONAL FRIENDSHIP WEEK!!!

its the 2nd day of the week and my mood's still high but not as much as before. maybe its cos the results i got back were _____ (insert negative word). people can still own me in some subject. like when i say owned i mean TOTALLY OWNED..

last week was like feeling so low cos i got back e maths and i failed by two marks. then i found out that i could get 5 marks while gg thro paper if i hadnt been so careless -.-

anyway, spent pe running 2.4km and finihsing within 15:30 min(i hope?) then jennyeong and jimmy made us wait for them cos they smart alec go up class or smth.. end up i super late for the appointment l8r. im so sorry to make you waste your recess, iris :(
guess this goes to show that im not a punctual person, but i swear today wasnt on purpose.

band was a BIGBIG highlight. competing in the NATIONAL BAND COMPETITION on july 10.. getting NEW INSTRUMENTS by may. woots~ my SELMAR SAXOPHONE!!! love the new conductors, they're different from mr tan. just hope they arent scary inn training. i'll die as it is. march kawasaki ftw~ our march song for the competition. i suppose with these conductors we'll get gold for SYF next year le xD hope so. NANHUA SYMPHONIC BAND JIAYOUS!!!

yup, still loving band as it is, its a GREAT santuary for my weary mind at the end of the day. joking around with bandmates is so effortless. as if it feels like.. i dont need to act around them. its so relaxing to the mind. maybe thats why i LOVE band so much..
